George Ulysses BEARLEY was born 5 Feb 1881 in Henry Co. OH. His obit states that he lived in Toledo more than 40 years, coming here from Texas with his parents. Maybe, "Texas" is the community in Henry County, about 5 miles southeast of Liberty Center!

His survivors were wife Zella, son Chester and daughters Gladys, Norma and Mrs. Margaret STACEY.

A Chester BEARLEY, b 28 Jan 1906, d Nov 1969 in Toledo. George's daughter, Margaret, could have been Marguerite STACEY, born 12 Jan 1903 and died 8 May 1995.

The 1930 census for Toledo, shows that George was 40, first married at 15 and Zella was 48 and first married at 19. Also in the household was Gladys 11, Norma 6 and two of George's stepsons, Donald and Harold ST. AUBIN, 20 and 18, respectively. Their father was born in Michigan.

Wasn't there some connection of a BATES to your BEARLEYs?
