Thank you so much for your response! I cannot find a connection between Jennie and Lottie Shepard and the Girkins. I have Jennie's Bible and, unfortunately, she does not list any of her family. She only wrote that her name was Jennie E. Keyes and she married Chester C. Shepard. She and Lottie died after Lottie's birth in 1872. Her only other child, Frank, was born in Toledo in 1866. The only additional names I have are Frank and Sophia Gurley, who raised the young boy, Frank. From Chester's letter it appeared that he had made plans in 1915 to be buried with Jennie and Lottie in Forest Cemetery. Wishful thinking to hope I would finally find them and they would ALL be together!!! Back to the search! However, finding Jennie and Lottie was a WONDERFUL bit of info - thanks again!
