Floyd Althouse, 68, of 636 Segur Ave., died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Newaygo, Mich., Mr. Althouse lived in Toledo 52 years. He was employed 25 years as a foreman at the old Auto-Lite Co. retiring 5 years ago. Before that he was employed 15 years at the old Neukon Cut Stone Co.
Mr. Althouse was a veteran of World War I, served in the marine corps and was a member of South Side Post, American Legion. He also belonged to Broadway Methodist Church, Calumet Lodge, F&AM and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are wife, Fern; son, Lawrence, at home; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hess, of Paw Paw, Mich., and Mrs. Pearl Christensen of Muskegon, Mich.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Walter Mortuary with burial in Toledo Memorial Park.
I called TMP and Floyd is in section 3, lot 184, space #1; Lawrence, d 31 May 1968, is in space #3 but there is no Fern buried in that section. There is a Della FRAZIER, d 12 Nov 1984 in space #2.
