I do remember a McCorkel's Market, but I don;t remember exactly where it was located. I grew up in South Toledo and moved to the East Side about 1969, I think it might have been on Navarre Ave (RT 2)near Wheeling St. I really don't know anything about the people who ran it. I am looking for my greataunt Hedwig Gawronski who was married to a grocer on Maple Ave near Hudson or Hartman or Striecher. Supposedly she died young, her husband locked her in a meat freezer/cooler.
She left behind 2 young children. All my great aunts and uncles have died and I don't know my aunts married name.
