I am looking for family who came from Toledo, Ohio. Some of my surnames are on your list and I was wondering if there could be a connection somewhere. My great-grandfather was Nicholas Dixon. He was married to Helen Fitzpatrick and their son Nicholas John (aka Ben, Benny)Dixon was my grandfather. Some of his sisters were Mary, Carrie, Margaret, Helen, Lillian, and Anna May. He had possibly two brothers, William and Clarence. His sister Mary was the mother of a daughter named Lillian who married a George Shaefer. The family lived at 565 Norwood in Toledo during the 1920's. We have lost all contact with this family and I am trying to find a connection that will lead me to them. I never met my grandfather nor any of his family. Two of my grandfather's sisters became nuns in the Ursuline Order in Toledo from about 1902 to 1928, but one of them--Ann May lived until 1967 and died in Lucas County, according to the Social Security Administration. If you have any info on any of these names, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. I, too, attended my 40-yr class reunion last summer, and after a few awkward moments it was a ball! I hope yours went well too. I will hope to hear from you. Judy Budge, Oregon
