Don't know what churches were around, but someone at the local genealogical society might be able to help you. It is the Wood Co. Branch, Ohio Genealogical Society, and has its headquarters in the old jail near the courthouse. The people there should be able to help you. If the family members were from England, they probably were Anglican (Church of England), which I believe is Episcopalian in the U.S. If they were from Scotland, they could have been Presbyterian. I also have noticed that the children tend to adopt their mother's religion- probably because the mother had the main responsibility for raising the children, and would have been the one to see that they attended religious services.
