The local history/genealogy dept of the Lucas Co. public library has city directories, census, obituary indexes, newspapers & cemetery inscriptions, & many other resources. They are currently located in the former Point Place branch while the main branch is undergoing renovation, you can call for directions. The Probate division in the County court also has many records, but last I checked it was not avail. to researchers due to remodeling, so call first if you plan to go there. The Toledo Health Dept. will have birth/death records as well. Also, about 30 miles south of Toledo is the Jerome Stitt library located at Bowling Green State University. They have many many resources from NW OH, tax lists, birth/death records, church records, first families, etc. Good luck!
