I am not related but it appears that Frances Mazany Wozniak was not Joseph Wozniak's mother but perhaps she was his grandmother.

Joseph's mother, also named Frances, was born 3 Nov 1876 in Poland and died 17 Dec 1951 in Toledo. Her death cert says her father was unknown Kurtyka, her mmn was Frances Piatek and that she died at 27 W. Hudson but her ususl address was 3306 Franklin. The informant was Ronald Cook, an employee of the Jagodzinski Mortuary, who may have reversed the locations.

Frances Mazany Wozniak was born in 1851 in Poland and died 9 Nov 1919 at 3146 Warsaw Avenue. The informant was Vincent Wozniak, same address.

Vincent Stanley Wozniak was born in Toledo on 24 Jan 1893 and died 26 Sep 1950 in Toledo. The informant was Ronald Cook again and he said Vincent was divorced, his father was Stanley Wozniak and his mmn was Frances Mazany.

I suggest you check for Stanley's 1898 marriage record, which should include his parents' names. They are on roll 1, part 1 of manuscript number MS-812. These records are on film at Bowling Green (OH) State University. See http://www.bgsu.edu/colleges/library/cac/bib/page54237.html for more information.
