I suggest you wait until I can find Agnes and Daniel Ryan's obits. If her obit says that she was George's wife and Daniel Ryan's mother, we have a match.

If the Daniel that died in 1987 was her son, George would have married a Ms. RYAN sometime after Daniel's birth ca 1931-32. If she and George married in Lucas County, their marriage license ap will have a LOT of information, including their birthdates, birthplaces, parents' names, occupations, if either was previously married and the female's married name.

If your father-in-law was George's son, I am assuming that George was previously married. If I have the correct George W. Brown, he was 42 in the 1930 census, lodging with the Galetto family in Rochester.

George's 1968 obit said he lived in Toledo 35 years, making it about 1933 when he arrived or 2-3 years after Daniel was born, assuming that this is the correct Daniel.

How do you know that the name of the lady George was living with in the 1940s, was Josephine White? Was she your father-in-law's mother?
