In 1932, perhaps before, there was a Murphy Mortuary at 1855 Collingwood Blvd. in Toledo. In the 1960s it was known as Murphy-Roach and later it was the Collingwood Memorial.

I can recall being in there once and was in awe of the thick carpeting, natural woodwork and the opulence of the structure.

Do a Google search for "1855 Collingwood Toledo" for a photo of one of the most elegant of old Toledo buildings.
