ESTEP Roger D. Sr., age 68, passed away Friday, July 28, 2006, in his Monclova Township home, in the company of his family. Roger was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania and a current member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was president of the Cousino Club's Ma & Pa Bowling League. Roger was a member of the Maumee Eagles #2562. Until retiring in 2001, he worked as a loader operator for Stoneco, Ottawa Lake, for 42 years. While employed there he served as the Steward of Union Local 324. Roger is survived by his wife of over 31 years, Marilyn E. (Lee) Estep; sons, Roger Jr. (Tracey) and Frank (Rachel), both of Sylvania and Thomas and Daniel (Melanie), both of Toledo; daughters, Brenda (Milton) Kress, of Holland and Theresa (Elias) Wanna, of Melbourne, FL; 16 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Muriel Spencer, Melba Meadows, Judy Puckett, Julie (Bob) Keeler, Linda (Tony) Zappone, and Peggy Butler; brothers, Bob (Betty) and Paul (Sharon) Estep. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilford and Zelphia Estep; sister, Mildred Richmond and brothers, Harold, George and Donald. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, on Sunday, July 30, 2006 from 4-9 p.m., where a Scripture Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway St., Maumee 43537. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Donations in Roger's memory may be made to his Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
