I believe this is John Adam in the 1900 census, in LaSalle, Monroe, MI census, indexed online as SCHUERER:

In the 1910 census they lived in Toledo at 321 Albany Street:

wife, Stella H., 36, M1, 2 chn, 2 living, MI OH NY
dau, Grace A., 11, MI
dau, Margaret M., 8, MI
John died 13 Dec 1918 in Toledo.
In 1920, the surname is butchered in the index, as SCHENKER, living in Toledo at 318 Albany Street:

I am reasonably sure that Grace married Thomas C. DEAN, because a Grace Alice DEAN owned the property at 315 Albany Street and it was later owned by a Thomas C. DEAN.
A Grace A. DEAN died in Toledo on 1 Nov 1965 and a Thomas DEAN died in Stoughton, WI on/before 21 Sep 1983.
