Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The item was found in the Athens Messenger, newspaper, Local Matters, Thursday Aug 8, 1872.

"SHERIFF REYNOLDS on Friday last conveyed Wm. Beasley to the Insane Asylum in Toledo, for care and treatment".

This is how a woman read it, so I don't understand it either. The distance seems great, for that time period. Maybe that wasn't where they took him at the last moment?

Thanks again,

Sue
