Leroy is mentioned in his father's obit of Nov. 2, 1936 but I can't find a thing on him after that.

His mother is in the 1937 directory but he is not. Since he was an adult and employed (in 1930 he was) he should be listed separately but there is no Leroy/LeRoy or Jerome. I also checked the Lucas County marriage index for him and nothing through 1940.

From the "Toledo Blade", Mon., Nov. 2, 1936, death notice:
LYMAN-E. SCOTT, husband of Harriet and father of LeRoy J. Lyman, at the residence 1014 Harding Dr., Sunday, Nov. 1. Friends may call at the Bolander & Son Mortuary, 1422 Broadway, where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Liberty Center, Ohio.
