"Toledo Blade", Monday, Apr. 19, 1948:
Patrick M. Kearney, 2039 Calumet Ave., died at home yesterday of a heart attack. He was a native of County Lough, Ireland, and came to Toledo 37 years ago.
Mr. Kearney was employed by the Community Traction Co. 35 years. A dispatcher at the Summit and Cherry Sts. intersection for several years, he recently was an inspector.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; daughter, Mrs. E. C. Swint, Fremont, O.; sons, Bernard J., Toledo and Robert P., Monte Vista, Colo.; sister, Mrs. Thomas Gogan, and brother, Thomas Kearney, both of Ireland, and six grandchildren.
The body is in the James Coyle and Son Mortuary, Collingwood Blvd., where services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday and at 9:30 a.m. in Gesu Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
"The Blade", Wed., Sept. 11, 1968:
Mrs. Margaret V. Kearney, 77, of 4148 Woodmont Rd., died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, Fremont, O., following an illness of seven months.
Mrs. Kearney, a lifelong resident, was employed 15 years as a practical nurse at William Roche Memorial Hospital. She was a smember of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Practical Nurses Association of Ohio.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Mary Rita Swint, of Fremont; son, Bernard J., of Cleveland; sister, Mrs. Genevieve Adams, of Toledo, and 10 grandchildren.
The body is in the Coyle Mortuary, Collingwood Boulevard. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited tonight at 8.
