Richard, Thank you so much for the information you have sent on A.W. Mitchell. I had some of it but you had more. I been trying for 11 years now to find information on his father Peter (from Ireland) and the family as my g grandfather was Herod Mitchell who was left out of the information for the living brothers. (maybe a family tiff).Peter would be my gg grandfather.
I have only been able to find half of the family but no real information. Those i came across in the Rochester Station Cem. in Rochester Twp, Lorain Co, Ohio.(also census) They were Peter Mitchell d July 30, 1856, 63y

Margaret J (Mitchell) Collins 1835-1908 was married to Sylvester Collins 05 Oct 1886 in Eaton Co, MI (he is buried in Mi) Margart in Oh with mother and father.

Also was a Rachel Mitchell (no dates) in same lot as some of the Mitchells.
Howard Eaton was the Sexton but was no help on records-had his daughter contact me one question on Ida May but she in turn would never reply on anymore.
I found George- James- and Sidney in civil war.
I have been trying to trace the family to see if anyone has any information as to where in Ireland Peter came from and his parents but not having very good luck. Herrod B.(Herod) Mitchell 1840-)Oct 2, 1913 and his son William Grant Mitchell 1873-)Oct 5, 1913 died within days of each other. Herod moved from Oh to Mi and is buried in Maple Hill Cem Eaton Co,Charlotte,Mi. I have Peters papers of intent to become a citizen living in New York,Jerusluem dated back to 20th of Janurary 1835
