Hi Kenneth:

This may be obvious, but when I come closer to current generations, I check the white pages. There are two Rider names listed:

Select "White Pages" and enter "Rider - Elyria - OH" and see what pops up. I'm not shy when it comes to genealogy, and pick up the phone and have met distant cousins via long distance.

If they are not related, other towns in the Lorain County area to look up include Lorain, Amherst, LaGrange, and Wellington to name a few.
