Hi Barbara,

A book titled "History of the Western Reserve" published in 1910, has a biographical sketch of the ninth child on your list, Andrew Johnson. The sketch has some info on Andrew's parents and siblings, and contains some dates that may help you. From the bio:

Leonard Johnson, born March 17, 1798, died April 10, 1873
Chloe Cutler, born June 13, 1809, died Sept. 1, 1853

They had 10 children

Edwin, born Nov. 24, 1826
Clarissa, born March 18, 1828
Stephen, born Nov. 14, 1829
Julia, born April 22, 1831
Martin, born April 18, 1833 -- died in infancy
Martin (2), born Feb, 22, 1835
Mary, born Dec. 23, 1836
Henry, born Dec. 29, 1838
Alonzo, born Feb. 26, 1841
Andrew, born Jan. 23, 1843 -- died May 31, 1882
John, born April 17, 1845

The bio indicates that Andrew died on the farm where he was born in Elyria Township, and mentions that the farm was cleared from the wilderness by his father Leonard. The bio also mentions Andrew's Civil War service, and his marriage to Eliza P. Root on May 11, 1865. She was born Nov. 13, 1841, in Dover, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The bio ends with the enumeration of their 4 children. If you are interested in a complete copy of the bio, let me know and I will Email the pages to you.

Hope this helps -- Richard
