Laubenthal / Lavender

Looking for information on my Laubenthal ancestors, who emigrated to Lorain County around 1852-1853. In the 1860 census, they're in Ridgeville -- the HeritageQuest index shows the name as "Lavender". My g-gaffer (Nicolas, eldest son) is not shown with the family -- was probably out on his own by then. Family is Josef, wife Katharine, sons Jacob & Antone, daughter Elizabeth. They later moved through Wood county to Henry County. Nicolas ended up in Michigan, Frank and Antone in Alabama, believe that Elizabeth married a Mehlman(n).
