Elyria teachers in 1880's

Are there any records of teachers in the Elyria area in the 1880's? My great-grandfather, Henry John PARKINSON, came from England in the early 1880's and taught in Elyria for a few years before ending up in South Dakota. If these records exist, I would like copies of any that pertain to him.
