Steeles in Lorain County

I am looking for information on Reuben Steele married to Esther J. Harrington. They were married on 25 June 1844 in Lorain County, Ohio.

In the 1850 Census for Ionia, Ionia County, MI as:

Steele, Rueben 25 M Carpenter NY
Steele, Esther J. 24 F Ohio
Steele, Elsy 4 F Ohio
Steele, Mary J. 8/10 F Mich

In the 1860 Census for Ionia, Ionia County, MI as:

Steele, Reuben 38 M Carpenter Indiana
Steele, Esther 36 F New York
Steele, Elsie A. 15 F Ohio
Steele, Mary 10 F Michigan
Steele, Harriet 8 F Ohio
Steele, Charles 5 M Michigan
Steele, Ida 2 F Michigan

I know that Harriet married Aaron Odell in 1870 and is listed in the 1870 Census in Ingham County with Aaron. Her marriage certificate says her residence at time of marriage was Portland.

I wonder if Harriet (Hattie) was born in Lorain County as well since her parents went to Michigan and had Mary then Harriet was born in Ohio, then Charle was born in Michigan as well as Ida. This family is not found in this county in 1870 Census. I wonder if they went back to Ohio for some reason. We also can't find the burial sites of Reuben and Esther.

Doe anyone have any more information on Esther J. Harrington's family as well?

I would love it if anyone had any information on this family, for example, where they went after 1860. Are they buried in Ionia County? Any information in Portland concerning this family?

Thank you in advance for any help.
