William Thomas, Logan Co. Ohio, b. abt. 1811 in OH

If anyone has any information or places to look for the following, I would much appreciate it:

William (Henry?) Thomas b. about 1811 in Ohio (acc. to census records)
m. Mary "Polly" Watkins, dau. of James Watkins, 28 Oct 1832 in Logan Co., Ohio

Lived in Logan County till 1840 and moved to Hardin Co., Ohio where he lived till 1850. He then moved to Indiana. I cannot find Wm. in the 1850 census, but I find some of his kids living in Miami Co., Indiana with 2 different families, Joel Thomas & Joseph Loveless (m. to Eleanor Thomas).

There are several Thomases in the Logan County area in the early 1800's, but I cannot seem to make a connection between Wm. and any of them.

According to his 1880 Census, he has his father born in Maine, though he didn't know where his mother was born.

William died in Starke Co, Indiana and was buried in Monterey, Pulaski Co., IN. His tombstone has his death date as 4 Jul 1887.

ANY help would be appreciated, even if it rules out a family or set of parents as that still helps me get closer to what family he might have descended from. Thanks! Linda Thomas
