Obit in Newark Advocate July 1885, John Spencer b. 10/10/1806 was the son of Gen. John Spencer and first born after they removed to Newton Township. According to a letter from Cal.decendent of Jesse Woods " My Gr. Grandfather Jesse Woods wound up in Orphans Court in Licking County when his father died leaving my grandmother with many children to support" Martha had a twin sister Catherine that M. Wm. R. Seymour and an older Sister, Eliza b. 1810 m. Wm. Woods buried in the old Utica Cemetery. I have obit for Martha Woods Burlington Junction Mo.July 8, 1881 any information on Woods /Spencer family appreciated. . .
