HUSBAND NOTES: William Jordan Farmer
General(1,2):
William is on the AF with a "son:, John, born in 1740:

John FARMER (AFN: GQPN-T7)
Birth: 7 Jul 1740
<Westmoreland, Cheshire, New Hampshire>

John, according to the AF, married Sally Or Sarah BURT (AFN: GQPN-JN) on 12 Mar 1788 in Westmoreland, Cheshire, New Hampshire. It is possible John here is really William's father, uncle or cousin. Sally was born "abt" 1769, so she would be 47, and John 77 when William was born in 1817. That makes them a better candidate for grandparents than parents. Or, it could be the only thing John and William have in common is their last name.

William, Mary and the kids are on the AF with birthplaces of "<Newark,Licking, Oklahoma>", which is false. Oklahoma doesn't have a town named Newark or a county named Licking. It wasn't settled by people of European stock until well after the Civil War; the Plains Indians lived there all by themselves until the US Government forcibly relocated the Eastern tribes there in the middle of the 19th century. Ohio has a town named Licking in a county named Licking. "Oh" and "Ok" look alike in some hands.

By 1880, William and Mary are in Martin, McLean, Illinois

CHILD NOTES: Lloyd Fener Farmer
General(1,6):

CHILD NOTES: Leven Sebastian Farmer
General(1):
This individualis on the AF as "Lleven". As of January 2003, RootsWeb World Connect had 247,162,213 entries. None of them were for a person with given name "Lleven". It may have been "Levin" or "Steven". It probably wasn't "Lleven".

CHILD NOTES: Elizabeth Mathilda Farmer
General(1):

CHILD NOTES: Viola Samantha Farmer
General(1,7,8):

CHILD NOTES: Otho Harrison Farmer
General(1,9):
Otho was living with his brother Samuel in 1880, in Sullivant, Ford, Illinois.

CHILD NOTES: Lucy Sophronia Kansas Farmer
General(1):

CHILD NOTES: Josephus Noah Abraham Farmer
General(1):
The AF entry has no "Walker" farmer. The 1880 census entry has a Walker farmer, who was 22 in 1880. Either there were twins, or there was another son not mentioned in the AF, or "Josephus Noah" got tired of his real name and used "Walker" for at least part of his life.
