Jean Jaques Roux & Anne Marie Vuillequey had the following children: Jean Jaques(Catherine Elisabeth Thourot), Anne
Catherine (Jean George Roux, s/o Charles Roux & Anne Marie Gillotte), Pierre Frederic Roux (Marie Catherine Renaud),
Georges Frederic Roux (Marie Catherine Renaud), Pierre Abraham Roux.
Jean Jaques emigrated with his family to Stryker, Ohio about 1838, and Georges Frederic's son, Georges Frederic,
emigrated to Fort Wayne, IN, 1874, (his son, Charles Adolphus at the age of 7 emigrated in 1878) and Pierre Frederic's
daughter, Catherine Julie (m. Jean Pierre Ponsot with their son, Emile) emigrated to Fort Wayne, IN, 1880. Jean Jaques,
Jr.'s grandson, Emile Roux, also ended up in Fort Wayne, IN. More from Seloncourt may have also ended up in the
Ohio/Indiana area. (Families that tie into this one from France include: Tuillard, Coulin, Fainot, Mettatol, Quaile, Galley
and more.
