I am interested in your Evans in Licking County, Ohio. I am researching the McQuown family in the marriage index there is a listing for Jane McCune to George Evans on Dec. 27, 1809, Lydia McCune to John Evans Jan. 25, 1810, David Evans to Nancy McCreary.
The McCune could be McQuown's not sure but I have John McQuown living in Licking County in served in the Amer. Rev. from Fauquier Co. Va. he has two daughters who could fit. Other McQuowns in our family moved to LaSalle County, Illinois which is next to Marshall Co. this is all I know so far. Vikki
