Rev John F. Kanuth
Posted by: Renee (ID *****6563) Date: May 23, 2007 at 19:23:12

The Rev's World War I registration shows wife's name as Nellie Pearl, the Licking County, Ohio Farm Directory, 1915-20 also, shows his wife name a Nellie P. He was pastor of the M.E. Church E Main St., Hebron. Yet the Methodist church shows his wife as Margaret Gordon Kanuth.
Can anyone find a marriage record for Nellie Pearl or an obit. I know she died between 1917 and 1919 as The Rev is shown as a widow in the 1920 census.

Thank you for helping to solve this mystery.
