I am looking for an information on a Mary Cantor/Canter who was born in NC around 1835 and who married a Cleveland Bone. They did eventually end up in Lawrence Co., Ohio in the 1860's. I found a Thos. Canter in the 1840 Ashe Co., NC census. 1 5-10 male, 1 20-30 male, 1 under 5 female, 1 5-10 female, 1 20-30 female. I found a marriage for Mary Canter and a Cleland Bane 6 Nov. 1856. I am sure that is them. Thanks for reading!
