John Friend and Amy Woodrum were married in Lawrence Co., Ohio on Aug. 26, 1890. Isaac V. Woodrum came forward for the marriage. Strangely enough is there are no children listed in the early birth records for a John Friend and Amy Woodrum. The following are the early birth records for her siblings?:

All born to Isaac Woodrum and Catherine Woolum:
George W. Woodrum on Mar. 12, 1874
Chas. F. on Feb. 27, 1883.
Willard and Wm. (twins) on Feb. 27, 1886.
Harriet Belle on Feb. 29, 1887.

John Friend married Anna Smith between 1895-1898 marriage book 17, p. 73. There are early births listed for John Friend and Anna/Annie Smith. They are:
Elva Edna on Apr. 28, 1898.
Rosa Emma on Mar. 4, 1896.
Mayme and Elroy (twins) on Mar. 17, 1904
Wm. Frederick on Feb. 27, 1912.

They can be found in Decatur twp. in the 1900 census as:
John Friend - 23
Anna - 23
Rosa E. - 4
Elva - 2
