List Winners For Each School In
City-wide War Bond Poster Contest
Prize winning posters in the War
Stamp poster contest which was
sponsered by the Paonsville Par-
ent-Teacher coucil in the grade
schools and Champion Junior High
school we announced today by
Mrs. Kenneth Pangborn, defence
chairman of the council.
Arrangements have been made to
display the prize posters in the
city's downtown store windows by
Dent Rice, National Victory Dis-
play committee chairman and they
may be seen tonight.
Frst prize at each school
will receive $1.50 in war stamps
and his poster will be eligable to
compeate in the city-wide contest.
Second prize is $1.00 and third
prize 50c. Only the first prize win-
ners may enter their posters in the
city-wid contest and compete for
prizes at $3. $2. $1.
All awards wil be paid in war
The judges are Miss. Laura C.
Lee, professor of art at Lake Erie
college; Mrs. Harry Haggett of
Willoighby, chairman of the war
bond and stamp sales for county
clubs; Mrs. Arthur Burkett, chair-
man of the war bond and stamp
sales in Lake county schools; Mr.
Rice; P. M. Shaw, secretary of the
Citizen's Savings and Loan Co.
