Arrest records

I am searching for information on SAMUEL BELLOWS.He was arrested in Painesville, Ohio in 1827 for counterfeiting coins. I have not been able to find out what happened to him after that. Does anyone have access to early arrest records, prison records etc.Samuel seems to have disappeared. I am unable to find him anywhere. He was married to Nancy (Anna) Crofts, daughter of Chistopher Crofts. They all lived in Painesville. I believe Christopher Crofts had a chair factory in Painesvillein the early 1800's. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you
