Blacksmith/Wagonmaker Samuel GIBSON family in Ohio 1820s-40s

I recently have gotten a lead on my gg grandfather David A GIBSON born 24 Jan 1824 in OH or PA (both appear on different census records) with his father born in PA. A cousin has found David bought a headstone for a Samuel GIBSON who might have been his father. I find in Morgan County,IL in 1860 my David A GIBSON is age 36 born in Ohio and a blacksmith, and in another township (same county) Samuel age 57 (born PA) is a wagon maker with wife Mary age 47, and in his household is living son Milton age 25 also a blacksmith born in Ohio. I see on rootsweb db = knoxcooh that a Samuel Gibson with son Milton of the same ages are listed as a Knox County family. I am looking for early Knox County information for this family hopefully including David A GIBSON in the household. David's mother likely would have not been Mary as she would have only been 11 or 12 at the time of David's birth in 1822.

Any information on this Samuel Gibson family of blacksmiths with children born in 1820s, 30s and 40s in Ohio with father Samuel born PA 1803 (or so) and son David born 1822 and Milton born 1835 (or so) would be so greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
Debby
