Thomas Jones b. about 1775 MD-OH-IL?

Although I didn't think Thomas Jones, Sr. left Ohio, I've recently found a Thomas and Winifred Jones listed in the Greenbush Graveyard, Warren County, Illinois. The listings say-Thomas Jones, died October 14, 1855, aged 80 years and Winifred, wife of Thomas, died August 4, 1858, aged 68 years. (I had originally transcribed his wife's name as Minnie from the 1850 census, but it definitly could be Winnie)

In the 1850 Federal Census, Milford Township, Knox County, Ohio, is found Thomas Jones b. about 1822 in Ohio (I can directly connect this Thomas to my family through David J.) with his family and right next door is Thomas Jones, Sr., b. about 1775 in Maryland, with his wife, b. about 1775 in Virginia. Some assumptions have been made that Thomas Jones, Sr. is possibly the Grandfather of the Thomas Jones b. about 1822, which further creates more assumptions of a missing (Thomas?) Jones (who would be the Father of Thomas Jones b. about 1822,)

My David Jones with mother and siblings had moved to Warren County, Illinois by 1860.

Some of the family remained in Illinois, while many went on to Iowa.

Any help with this challenge would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Sherry
