John C. J. Buchanan/John Buchanan Death

I am looking for a death date for this ancestor.

He was born about 1858 in Howard Twp. He was age 2 in the 1860 census and noted as John C. J. He was not listed in the 1870 census. His parents were Alexander and Rachel Baker Buchanan.

I would very grateful for any help.
