1850 Census lookup Hendrick/Marshall?
Posted by: Scott Hendrick Date: June 27, 2000 at 14:23:28

Is there anyone who can do a lookup for the last name of Hendrick in the 1850 Knox County census records? The head of household might be "Alvereus Hendrick" or "Hernando Hendrick" -- but any Hendrick names would be helpful!

Also, the Marshall family are my ancestors. I am also looking for a Robert Marshall family -- his wife would be Nancy Ely, and a daughter names Harriet.

The township might be Mt. Vernon. I do have some information that leads me to believe that the info I want is on pages 219A-241B if that makes any sense.

I also have this description of the microfilm, which might be helpful:

"Page numbers are stamped in upper right corners of the microfilmed pages.
Every other page is unnumbered. The "A" page is always the numbered page,
and the "B" page is the unnumbered page following it on the film (it was
the backside of the paper that was microfilmed). Pages 206A-463B are followed by pages 1A-111B on the microfilm."

Is there a such thing as a 1860 census? I want to check there as well eventually if it exists...

Thanks in advance!
Scott Hendrick
