I am serching for information on the Adam Johnston faimly. Born June 7,1798 where ?
I have been told his fathers name was William. They lived in Knox County. Adam was married to Sarah Blakely b. April 14,1803. Her parents were Francis Blakely 12/24/1770- 10/31/1857 and Rachel Hardesty b. 1797.
Adam & Sarah had several children:
Minerva,John N., Rachel, Louisa, William,Phillip,Solomon,Frank, James. I have birthdates for all. The Johnston faimly neighbors were Francis Blakely,Francis Hardesty,Daniel Grubb and J. Nelson Dean.
I know later that John N. Johnston married twice second wife Margaret Mccurdy moved to Mcclean county IL. I am not sure if the whole faimly moved or not. This line of Johnstons later moved to Iowa then on to Missouri. Any information on this faimly would be wonderful. Thanks in advance, Joni :)
