After receiveing information from a co-researcher in Texas (thank you Janet) I am looking for information on Isaiah Winters, born before 1755 in Pennsylvania, who married a Rhoda, born before 1755. He died before 1824, in Jefferson Co., Ohio. She died before 1823. The following information came from Janet: Isaiah and Rhoda lived in Fermanagh Township, Cumberland County PA from 1775 to 1795. (After 1781 they lived in Milford Township, same County--did they move or was the township redrawn?) In December 1795 they moved to Washington County, PA, Ten Mile Creek. In 1800 they are listed in Greene County PA, Ten Mile Creek. (Again did they move or was the area redrawn?) In March 1805 they moved across the river into Jefferson County OH. He could have had a 2nd wife--Elizabeth Adams. He [would have] married Elizabeth 17 July 1823 in Jefferson County. Isaiah and Rhoda had a son named Isaiah Winters who married Catherine Frederick before 1800. Does anyone have any info on this family?
