This isn't what you're looking for but thought I'd pass it along, anyway, in case you don't have it. THE PIONEER COLLECTIN says that Samuel hunter, who died in 1838. was 71 at the time of his death.
The Spencer Ledger,(included in the above book)is the index only of a mercantile establishment in Steubenville 1804-1811 and had the following;
Hunter- John, esq., account proper; John esq., A/C of suits; Samuel, merchant. (haven't the foggiest what A/C means).
Larimore - David, (see Martha Hendrix)
Hendrix, Martha, dau of George Hendrix lives place adjoining Wm Wallace's place over the river, David Larimore gave a kind of order.
There is a photographic record of 1200 early citizens, with a reprint available from the Jefferson county HIst. Assoc. in Steubenville, and one of those included is Hunter, James, first child born in Steubenville, Ohio.
