Gibbens / Gibbons early 1800's
I am looking for the parents of my ancestor, Frederick Gibbens. He was born in 1808 in Harrison Co, OH which I just discovered wasn't there at the time. It was Jefferson Co, OH. He was married in 1829 to Ann Ferrier in Harrison Co, OH. I found Thomas Gibbons listed on the Short Creek Monthly Meeting as being married on 26 Jan 1825. He married Sarah Thomas. Thomas's parents are listed as being James and Eleanor Gibbens from Chester Co, PA. I found a James who married Eleanor Peters but she was born in 1735. I found a son, Thomas, listed to her as being born in 1786. She would have been 51. If Thomas is Frederick's brother, then she would have been 73 when he was born in 1808. I found James Gibbons marrying Eleanor Peters about 1791 in Chester Co, PA on LDS file number 1760769.
Does anyone have any information about Thomas Gibbens, James and Eleanor Gibbens, or Frederick Gibbens? I know Thomas, James and Eleanor were Quakers. I am not sure about Frederick.
Thanks.
Linda
