I do have some good news. I found, I belive, the right Moffett. The name I gave you, Capt. J. M. Moffett is on the headstone with Martha M. Also, Adeline was the name they have listed as Muffett. That was in error. It is Moffett. His mother?

Here is what is on the stone.

Face: MOFFETT
Capt. J. M. 1852-1904
Martha M. 1860-1952
Adeline E. 1832-1904

Top of Stone:
Collier Y. 1894-1966
Teresa 1901-1973

It is a large stone and quite nice. I did take pictures. I am not sure how good it shows up. It was shaded by a tree because of the time of day that I was there.

I did not find a headstone by them for Edna I. Smith. I have called the township to verify her burial & asked for help in locating her burial spot in case she is elsewhere and has a headstone. I can let you know what I find out.

Shirley
