Shirley:
Thank you for the reply. This is at least the second time you have helped me with this family. I was aware of the two wives but only one of the children. Martha is my GG-grandmother and she died 29 Feb 1896 in Newark, Licking Co., Ohio and is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The parents of the Wood women were Roswell and Margaret (Ladd) Wood. They had 6 children. The Huron County Chapter of the O.G.S. has also been very helpful. I believe that James' father was also James. It would be great to find out more on that line. I will be glad to share what I have collected so far. Thanks again.

Regards,
Robert Hoyt
