Although it is true that Erie County was part of Huron County in 1834-1838, birth records were not kept in Huron County until 1867. Earlier birth dates can be found in family bibles, church records, local history records, or maybe headstone inscriptions. Also, check RBHayes Index out of Fremont, Ohio for newspaper articles for the names you are looking for. In a quick look, I did not find anything written on them in Huron County. Maybe you could check church records or a book on Erie County History for family information since they were there in 1830. Shirley Hazelwood
