15 July 1843, Huron county, Ohio Sibil Searls and Daniel Dickerson married.
I do believe this is the same couple found in the 1860 Huron census in Hartland township as Dan Dickinson, age 59 from Connecticut and Sibyl B. 55, from Massachusetts, along with two sons, William L. 16 and James B. 14.
By 1870 William is gone, Daniel Dickenson is 68, still from CT, Sybil 64 shows from NY, James’ wife Emma and son Alfred have joined the family – now in Monclova township in Lucas county.
In 1880, still in Monclova, James is the head of the family, Dan Dickinson 79 is still from CT, Sybil at 74 is again from MA. Alfred is no longer listed, but Myron, age 9, has joined the family
I believe Daniel Dickinson is the same Daniel who was son of Joseph Dickinson (1763-1837) and Elizabeth Brooks (ca 1769-1816) of Middlesex, CT; who married Sarah Lewis (b. 1804).
I would appreciate any information that could prove/disprove that theory. Looking specifically for information on Sarah Dickinson's death/burial between 1840 and 1843, or additional information on her children, Fannie Agnes Dickinson (1838) and Daniel Dickinson (1840)
