McGuan in Norwalk, Huron County

Researching the family of James and Julia (mnu) McGuan who lived in Norwalk from at least 1880 on. They had at least 8 children: James, John, Thomas, Mary, George, Willie, Andrew, and Meyer. James and sons James and John worked on the railroad. Trying to connect John C. McGuan of Alton, IL in 1900 who also worked for the railroad. From the census records it appears James (the father) died between the 1880 and 1900 census enumerations. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
