I have checked all possible records in the Huron County Courthouse and the Norwalk Public Library. I can't find the name Rodabaugh in any of these. I searched all the death records and indexes available to no avail. I checked the Huron County Cemetery listings for the name Rodabaugh and all alternate spellings I could think of, and still no Rodabaugh. I also checked the 1830 and 1850 Ohio census indexes.... There, I found the Rodabaugh's. But not in the Huron County. The listings are as follows.....
Rodabaugh, Peter...Lorain County, Elyria Twp., Pg 23
" John ...Lorain County, Elyria Twp., Pg.23
Rodabaugh, Peter...Putnam Cnty, Blanchard Twp., Pg.38
Rodabaugh, William.Putnam Cnty, Blanchard Twp., Pg.38
Rodabaugh, John....Putnam Cnty, Blanchard Twp., Pg.38
Rodabaugh, Benjamin. Putnam Cnty, Blanchard Twp.,Pg.38
Rodabaugh, John M..Putnam Cnty, Ottowa Twp., Pg.60
Rodabaugh, Daniel..Hancock Cnty, Madison Twp., Pg.136
Rodabaugh, Elizabeth.Hancock Cnty, Madison Twp., Pg.136
Rodabaugh, Simon...Hancock Cnty, Madison Twp., Pg.136
Rodabaugh, Abraham.Hancock Cnty, Madison Twp., Pg.130
The only thing I can think of is that the very western edge of what is Lorain County now, use to be a part of Huron County back in the early 1800's. But I believe the records would still be in Lorain County rather than Huron County. You may want to check that out.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!!
