I am searching for more information, specifically the parentage of Mathias Mettick (1850 census spelled Medrich). He married Rebecca Buckmaster on Mar 30, 1848 in Holmes County. In 1856 he came to Wisconsin and by 1860 was in Franklin township, Vernon County, WI. Mathias was born on June 23, 1823 in Tuscarawas County and died on Feb 17, 1901 in Vernon County, WI. He was a Civil War Veteran in Co H 36th Reg WI Volunteers.
