Kay, what did they do about the birth records for people who were lost when the old court house burned down? I was home several years ago (Lancaster, Ohio)and they told me at the Hocking county court house that a lot of the records were lost for the year 1896 when I think my father was born. Anyway thanks for the post about the books I want all of them so I will write for them when I get the money.
