Seeking kin of Vernon Vickers & Lucile (Lucy) Harclerode Barlow Vickers...

Lucile Harclerode (born in Pennsylvania) married Dr. Bryan Anderson Barlow (born in Alabama) about 1916, the year in which he graduated as an M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. The couple moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana when Dr. Barlow took a job as the assistant medical director of the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company there. Lucile was pregnant with their third child in 1919 when Dr. Barlow was killed in an automobile accident in Minnesota while on a business trip.

After the death of her first husband, Lucile married Vernon Vickers and moved to Ohio. With Vernon she had another two children. The Vickers lived in Ohio until their deaths. Vernon died in 1959 in Athens, Ohio. Lucile died less than a year later in 1960 in Hocking County, Ohio.

I would like to contact members of this family to ask for more information. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Darren Peterson
