Charles Wesley Baird, who went by the name Wesley, was born October 1, 1860. He was the youngest of 9 children. His parents, David and Mariah Baker Baird were living in Green Twp. when he was born. He was married to Ida Victoria Sherrard, December 25, 1879 in Hocking Co. He was under age so his mother gave permission for the marriage. In 1880 Ida and Wesley were living in Carbon Hill and his occupation was coal miner.

I have not found death date or any information about Wesley since the 1880 census.

Ida Victoria Sherrard Baird was daughter of James Sherrard and Mary Fleming Sherrard. She was born October 14, 1857. She died in Columbus, Ohio January 24, 1931. Her residence was given as 38 North Park Avenue, Columbus. Burial was in Saginaw, Michigan. At time of her death she was listed as widow of Wesley Baird.

I would like to know when and where Wesley died? Did he and Ida have any children?

Zoe Baird Hanna
