Found no new marriage information.
I found a place in the book that said among the first settlers of Jackson township was john Tilton, Eli Hill, Isaac Hawks, Enoch Dixon, Wm. Burns, Thos. Colwell, Archibald Drake, Peter Milton, and Jacob and Wm. Arkson, Frederick Garrick, Joseph Wyatt, and Saml. Darby.
The first will we elected in section 27 by Jacob Ankram.
The Samuel Moores listed were found in Athens County
1805-1808 Samuel Moore was a county commissioner.
He was also listed as being on the first grand jury in 1805.
In 1818 there was a Samuel Moore listed as being on the 1st grand jury called in Hocking County.
The book does list the names, but not if they were the same Samuel. More for you to check out.
Kay
